Flickr Bookmarklet: Show Large
I barfed up another Flickr bookmarklet. Used like the last one, it will quickly take you to the “large” version of a photo.
This is especially useful when you can’t see the “all sizes” page for a photo taken by someone who isn’t in your contact list.

Have you ever seen a Flickr image embedded in a web page and wondered how you could find the original photo page on Flickr?
Bram Van Damme posted instructions on his blog, but that requires too much mental work for a dumb guy like me.
So I made a bookmarklet that does it automatically.

There’s an interesting post on the Left 4 Dead blog about how they focused on lighting to add mood and direction to the game.
Aesthetics, fiction and gameplay: these are three criteria that we always consider when employing a new art direction for a game. With a game as dark as Left 4 Dead, this meant having to figure out a lot of new ways to use the absence of light to our advantage.
